A cookbook-app that has the look and feel of an actual book. It offers interactive features such as storing personal recipes and menus, and the ability to share them via email.

The app allows users to take screenshots with their iPad and turn them into recipes, with the screenshot serving as the recipe's image which can be displayed in full screen. Users can also copy and paste ingredients, instructions, and images from websites directly into the app to create recipes without the need for bookmarks.

Another convenient feature is the ability to take a photo of a handwritten vintage recipe using the iPad and save it to "My Own Cookbook" for easy access.

For those dealing with foreign languages and different measurement units, "My Own Cookbook" provides translation assistance. The user interface is designed for optimal cooking experience, with recipe instructions, ingredients, and images displayed in full screen.

This app operates without requiring registrations or sign-ins, allowing users to conveniently access their stored recipes offline within the app.

Additional features include the ability to purchase high-quality recipes via "Store," share recipes through Dropbox, use an egg timer, create shopping lists that can be sent via email or iMessage, organize recipes into menus, locate shops with navigation maps, mark favorites, categorize recipes, print using AirPrint, search for specific recipes, and more.

With the free version of the app, users can save up to three personal recipes. Upgrading to the 'Consumer Edition' removes this restriction and also enables sharing via Dropbox.
